	The New Zealand Model Aeronautical Association (NZMAA) New Zealand's national body dedicated to the promotion and protection of aeromodelling.

	The Christchurch Model Aero Club is one of the oldest clubs in New Zealand. Founded in 1947 it caters for all aspects of miniature aircraft flying, including Radio control, Free flight and Control line.

	The Christchurch Soar Model Aero Club was formed in 2002 to give Canterbury slope enthusiasts a group to represent them and promote & support their interests. The club offers regular social flying and also organised competition events.

	The Kaiapoi Model Aero Club dates back to 1949, and has covered just about every aspect of aero modelling in that time. Today the major activity of the club is radio control power sport flying, both planes and helicopters.

CHRISTCHURCH RADIO FLIERS	The Christchurch Radio Fliers Club was founded in 1973 and specialises in only Radio controlled model aircraft. They fly from a property near the Motukarara race track some 30km southeast of Christchurch city centre.
